San Diego County New Home Information


As California's second largest city with a population of more than 1.2 million residents county-wide and the eighth largest city in the United States, San Diego County offers blue skies and beautiful beaches. New homes in San Diego are bordered by Mexico to the south, the Pacific Ocean, the Anza-Borrego Desert and the Laguna Mountains.

In addition to an idyllic climate and 70 miles of beautiful beaches, San Diego new home residents enjoy such popular attractions as the San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, SeaWorld, Legoland, various museums at Balboa Park, and Masters-caliber golf at the famed Torrey Pines Golf Course.

San Diego is home to 16 military facilities including the United States Navy, Coast Guard and Marine Corps highlighting Miramar Airbase and Camp Pendleton among the list.

Top universities including University of California San Diego and San Diego State University offer higher education to San Diego County new home residents while 42 school districts service the ethnically diverse student population of whom the majority are Hispanic and a large percentage are African American, Asian, Filipino, Pacific Islander and American Indian.
